With the GE 29880 telephone, you'll enjoy Caller ID with a 75
name-and-number memory.
A digital messaging system with 15 minutes of recording time and voice
time/day stamp provides instant playback of messages.
The voice stamp recites the time and day for each message received.
The digital outgoing announcement with default option lets you record your
own outgoing announcement or use the factory default message.
The outgoing announcement automatically stops and resets when any phone in
the house is answered.
Call screening allows you to listen to a caller leaving a message without
answering the phone.
Ring-select switch with toll saver (2, 5, toll saver) lets you select how
many rings before the answering system takes the call.
It's a good idea to keep a corded telephone at hand in case of a power
outage.....cordless phones will not work during an outage, while this GE
phone does not require AC power.
